Featured Guitar Chord

Here is an A(add 9) chord. The chord formula is 1 3 5 9.

This a nice substitute for a "Plain Jane" A chord. The 9 that is added is just the 9th degree of an A major scale, which in this case is a B note. Sometimes the chord is written as A(add B).
