Triad Shapes for
Guitar Slash Chords
Here are some major chord shapes for guitar in their
most basic form, a 3 note triad. It is essential to know these
chord shapes when working with slash chords. All you need to do
is find the fret that you would play the basic chord shape. The
red dot is the root of the chord. So line the red dot up with
the note on the neck of the guitar that you want to be the root.
Then find the bass note (note to the right of the slash) on a
string lower that the basic chord shape.
